The lionfish is an invasive species in the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea, eating our beautiful fish far faster than they can reproduce. The lionfish can reproduce every day and a half, laying more than 30,000 eggs at one time.
Handmade in the Florida Keys to help contain the lionfish population. Every lionfish removed from the oceans is used to its fullest capacity. Spines are used for jewelry, filets for food and the organs for science.
